The day is designed to spread the romance of reading with the launch a new competition.
The ‘My Favourite Book’ competition gives book lovers of all ages the chance to nominate their favourite book, love story and romantic couple.
By nominating a book you can collect a romantic Library Lovers’ bookmark in the library, allowing you to keep track of you are up to in love affair with your latest book.
Library Lover’s Day began in 2006 by the Australian Library and Information Association and has been celebrated across Australian libraries since.
A list of Ulladulla’s favourite books in 2017 will be printed in The Times in March.
All nominations are entered into the draw for a box of chocolates.
