Applications for Blessing of the Fleet princess are now open to girls who will be in year 10 next year and who live in the area between Sussex Inlet and Bawley Point.
They must be attending Ulladulla High School, St Johns Catholic School or Nowra Anglican College.
All applicants will be able to participate in the Blessing of the Fleet parade and Princess Ball.
Girls must find their own sponsor to provide $390 and a partner to accompany them to the ball and on their float in the Blessing of the Fleet Parade.
Applications can be found http://www.blessingofthefleet.info/festival-princess. They need to be dropped into the Lions pre-loved bookshop in Bellbrook Arcade by the end of October.
When each princess drops in their application they will receive an information pack with everything they need to be on their way to becoming the belle of the ball.
An information night will also be held on November 16 for all potential princesses.
The Blessing of the Fleet Ball will be on April 1, 2017 and the Blessing of the Fleet Parade will be held on April 17, 2017.
