A city that can attract, retain and develop organisations and people, increase mobile talent, encourage innovation, create jobs and support growth?
Shoalhaven Council is currently investigating submitting a grant to assist in transforming the Shoalhaven into a ‘smart city’.
The council is inviting information technology experts, tech heads, gamers, small businesses, large businesses, entrepreneurs, artists, musicians and community members to help shape the grant application and share how you think the Shoalhaven could be a ‘smart city’.
“Technology can lead to better utilisation of infrastructure, clean energy and energy efficiency, safety, improvements in services and mobile offices and bringing metropolitan jobs to regional areas,” a council spokeswoman said.
Join council’s Grant Think Tank on Monday, June 5 at Nowra School of Arts, Berry Street, Nowra from 6pm-8pm (Doors open at 5:30pm).
Refreshments will be served.
To RSVP, phone Lili Hutchinson at the council on 4429 3372.
