Shops across the region have sold out on all things green after a St Patrick’s Day event was held in Kioloa.

Seventy-six people gathered at Kioloa Community Hall on Friday, March 17 to celebrate with songs, stories, Guinness stew.
The event raised around $1500 for the Kioloa-Bawley pathway and was organised by the Community Connect Pathway committee and Sports and Recreation.
Committee member Helen Nelson said the evening provided plenty of Irish entertainment.
“It was a very happy and fun night,” she said.
Mrs Nelson thanked Maria Beckett for organising the evening, along with several volunteers.
The committee’s next fundraising event for the pathway will be an open movie night at Bawley Vale Estate at Bawley Point on Easter Saturday, April 15. The family-friendly event will screen ‘Road to Nhill’. Adults are $10 and children are $5. All tickets are sold will be sold at the gate from 5pm.
A raffle will also be held at the next Murramarang Markets.
