A big swell and breezy conditions kept most of the offshore competitors away from the Mollymook Bowling Club Fishing Club April competition but those who had a go were well rewarded.
Cheryl and John Prosser both bagged out on flathead (10 each) and scored a few nice snapper to go with them.
Tim O'Brien also caught his limit of big flathead after he got a phone call telling him to cast his lines to the other side of the boat.
The rock and beach guys put on a good show with Julian Sharrad weighing in a beautiful catch of good size bream with some getting up near the 1kg mark.
One of Julian's bream got him the secret weight award.
Mark (Johnno) Johnston weighed in a similar catch including some nice sized flathead.
He also released some measuring over 80cm which is the done thing, it keeps our fish stock alive. Included in Johnno's catch was a beat the board .785 bream.
One of our juniors, Mitch Jaffery was happy with his catch. He weighed in a flathead and two nice bream.
