As we know, regular exercise is great for overall health, but did you know it is also beneficial for increased work productivity and happiness in the work place?
As little as five minutes of exercise throughout the day can help boost your mood and work productivity by releasing endorphins, feel-good hormones, resulting in a happier, healthier, and more productive work place.
Instead of relying on that fourth cup of coffee to help you through the day, try these healthier alternatives:
- a five minute walk around your office or workplace.
- 20-30 minute walk or jog at lunch time.
- five minutes of stretching throughout the day.
- 10-20 repetitions of any exercise every 1-2 hours. Push ups, squats, etc.
- 20-30 minute circuit at your local gym during your lunch break.
