The South Coast Sawmills and Bush Timber Workers Association are inviting people in the industry to attend an information night on August 13.
They are looking for information from the timber industry to collect such as photos, maps etc and invite people to come along to learn about the industry’s history.
Anyone who has worked in the industry previously or works in the industry currently is invited to attend.
The collected information will be used in a display at the Timber Festival on October 29 at the Milton Showground.
