Voting is compulsory in Shoalhaven City Council Ward 3 for the 2016 NSW Local Government elections, which will take place on Saturday, September 10.
Three mayoral candidates are standing and 16 candidates are seeking positions as councillors, the four parties each fielding groups of four.
Amanda Findlay from Milton representing The Greens is contesting for mayor, against Greg Watson (Woollamia) for the New Shoalhaven Independents Group and incumbent Joanna Gash (Culburra Beach) for Team Gash.
In Ward 3, bordered in the south by Depot Beach and St Georges Basin to the north, 26,977 voters are enrolled out of a total within the council boundary of 77,811.
Pre-polling opened on August 29 and continues be available at Ulladulla Civic Centre until 5.30pm Friday.
Applications for postal voting have closed. Electors who applied for and received a postal vote pack must get them back to the returning officer no later than 6pm, Monday September 12, 2016.
Not voting could result in a $55 penalty.
The Ward 3 ballot paper is a landscape format that offers above the line voting for a group of candidates or individuals below the line.

Group A
Country Labor: Gillian Boyd - Croobyar, Len Baxter - Conjola Park, Deborah Shapira - Sanctuary Point and John Glyde - Mollymook Beach.

Group B
The Greens: Kaye Gartner - Vincentia, Kiah Findley - Milton, Michael Hibberd - Basin View and Gail Wild - Lake Tabourie.

Group C
New Shoalhaven Independents Group: Mark Kitchener - Mollymook Beach, Bob Proudfoot - Vincentia, Veronica Husted - Sanctuary Point and Maree Walsh-Harris - Mollymook.

Group D
Team Gash: Patricia White - Sussex Inlet, Katrina Condie - Conjola Park, Glenn Roberts - Mollymook and Janelle Collins - Ulladulla.
