Serious two-car crash at Wandandian closes Princes Highway

The accident happened on Sunday afternoon about 2km north of Sussex Inlet Road.

Ambulance, police and the RMS are at the scene of the accident.

Live Traffic advises diversions are in place in both directions on Btu Road to Braidwood, then the Kings Highway to rejoin the Princes Highway at Batemans Bay.

This diversion is only suitable for light vehicles. Heavy vehicles can use the Illawarra Highway. 

Motorists are advised the diversion will add about three hours to travel time.
