Ulladulla Mens’ Shed has received a grant to get a new construction to the lockup stage.
Veolia Mulwaree Trust has contributed $29,500 towards their new shed at Leo Drive, Narrawallee.
One of the members, John Phillips, said the shed has 70 active members and the present structure was inadequate to accommodate all projects.
The work will extend the vegetable garden and nursery in the grounds of the new shed.
“These extensions will greatly improve the facilities for the men of this community,” Mr Phillips said.
The men will stage their annual garage and plant sale on Saturday November 19.
“We will have toys for Christmas, furniture, household goods, tools and plants from our nursery.”
“We’ll also provide barbeque breakfast and brunch.”
All proceeds will go towards completing the men’s shed.
