Stargazers prepare your telescopes a supermoon will light up our sky tonight Wednesday, December 14.
Budding meteorologists will be able to see the lunar event in all its glory from the 8:07pm moon rise.
This supermoon is a full moon of which the centre is less than 360 thousand kilometers away from the earth.
The last supermoon was on November 16 and was the closest moon since January 26, 1948.
Although this moon will not be as close is is sure to be a dazzling sight.
