Occupation: Ranger at Shoalhaven City Council. “I’ve been at council for four years and in this role for two years. I look out for illegal rubbish dumping, dealing with tree removal on council land and abandoned vehicles. Basically anything illegal on council owned land from Jerrawangala to North Durras. 

Suburb: “Tomerong born and bred.” 

Favourite thing about the area: “The beaches, the coastline, the water.”

What makes the area unique: “What doesn't make it unique. It's like a country town, but with all the facilities. We've got everything we need. It's not overbuilt. There are so many things from hills rolling into the ocean to dense bushland and rainforests. 

Favourite spot: Washerwoman's Beach.
