Kristin Kalemusic, 20, appeared in Milton Local Court on March 16 and pleaded guilty to possessing a prohibited drug.
Court papers state Kalemusic attended FOMO music festival on January 8 at Parramatta Park. At 11.35am she was seen by police walking towards the festival, before then turning away.
Kalemusic caught the attention of police drug detection dog ‘Rachey’ and police asked her if she has any had any illegal drugs on her.
Kalemusic replied ‘yes, I have three caps inside me’. Police asked Kalemusic to remove the drugs, wrapped in a condom and found it contained four MDMA (Ecstasy) tablets.
Magistrate Gabriel Fleming warned Kalemusic about the ramifications of a drug conviction.
“There would be countries you can’t travel to and forms you have to tick yes to having a drug conviction,” she said.
“This is a wake up call. I’ll give you one caution and once only.”
