Last Sunday was quite cool, but calm, sunny and just perfect for running.

A number of RATS met at McDonald’s at 6.30am and decided to head to Milton via Slaughterhouse Road and Windward Way. The outlook across to the mountains at the junction of Windward Way and Wilfords Lane, is just stunning.

The runners did a small loop out to the highway, before turning back onto Slaughterhouse Road and heading back to their starting point.

Most covered about 15km for a good morning’s hit out.

Coffee and a chat after, rounded out an enjoyable Sunday morning.
