More than 70 prints were submitted for viewing and critique across the theme and open categories.
Judge Darren Steadman provided well-considered and helpful feedback on each image, commenting particularly on elements that could be tweaked to make significant improvements.
He commended the high standard of photography on display before deciding on the merit and credit awards for November.
“Water” was the set theme for the month and this was open to any interpretation other than ice or steam.
Some photographers featured just a drop or two, while others captured the ocean and everything in between.
Club president Dawn Woods cemented her place as a strong contender for 2017-18 Club Champion with some excellent images.
Her evocative and dreamy image of water moving over stones won the image of the month in the theme category.
She also won image of the month in the open category for a technically proficient and very appealing still life.
Other highly awarded photographers on the night included current club champion Christa Drysdale along with Robyn McTavish, Barry Holden and Anna Rosenzweig.
The award winning images from each month can be viewed on the club's website and Facebook page.
From the website you can also view and download the program of activities and the monthly newsletters.
The camera club is now winding down for the festive season and summer break and will reconvene with a competition night on Monday, January 22, 2018 at 6.30pm in the upstairs meeting room of the Milton Ulladulla Bowling Club.
The theme for the night will be “Monochrome” and this will accompany the regular open competition.
Visitors are very welcome.
