It seems there have been unexplained disappearances of valuables such as mobile phones and wallets from our local beaches.
The disappearances are happening while the owners are frolicking in the lovely clear waters lapping our beautiful Shoalhaven coastline.
In previous episodes I have spoken about this phenomenon and I did conclude that phones and wallets couldn’t swim.
So, it must be something else.
Could it be that the items under the cover of towels are digging their way out?
I think not, it still comes down to the person in control of the item to ensure that it is secure.
If you are going down the beach, ask yourself, “do I need to take my phone?” or “do I need my wallet with me?”
If the answer is no, secure your property in the boot of your vehicle out of sight.
You may even be able to leave some valuables at home.
National Bike Register - The National Bike Register allows owners to log information about their bicycles and bike parts into a database developed and maintained by Data Dot Technology.
