Please note;
- Restricted breeds, or dogs declared dangerous or menacing, are not permitted in off-leash areas;
- All faeces must be picked up and disposed of;
- All off-leash areas will be regularly patrolled and all regulations enforced.
- On the spot penalties apply for non-compliance;
Ulladulla – Dogs are allowed off-leash at all times on Colliers Beach and Ulladulla Harbour Northern Beach.
Mollymook - Dogs are prohibited at the northern and southern areas of Mollymook Beach.
An off-leash exercise area is available during restricted times at Bill Andriske Oval, to the south-east of the buildings and playing fields. During summer, dogs can run in this area from 3pm to 10am.
Narrawallee – Dogs are prohibited at the southern and northern ends of Narrawallee Beach. The middle section of the beach is a designated dog on-leash area from 3pm to 10am during summer.
Milton – A 24-hour dog off-leash exercise area is available at Milton Showground (excluding the showring and livestock yards) when major events aren’t on.
Lake Conjola – Dogs are prohibited norther from the beach access board walk, including sand spit Lakeside, from the boat ramp to sand spit to the endangered shorebird nesting site.
Bendalong – Dogs are prohibited on Flat Rock Beach because of an endangered shorebird nesting site. However, they are allowed to exercise off-lease at all times on Washerwoman’s Beach, north of the Boat Harbour Rocks.
Lake Tabourie – Dogs are prohibited adjacent to the caravan park, near the shorebird nesting sight. This is at the southern end of Wairo Beach, near the Tabourie Creek opening.
Bawley Point – Dogs are allowed off-leash at all times on Cormorant Beach.
Dog prohibited areas
Dogs are prohibited in the following places throughout the Shoalhaven.
- Children’s play areas
- Food preparation/consumption areas (including picnic areas)
- Recreation areas where dogs are prohibited
- Public bathing areas where dogs are prohibited (including a beach)
- School grounds
- Child care centres
- Shopping areas where dogs are prohibited
- Wildlife protection areas (National Parks)
