Kayla Maree Hasiuk, 26, of West Wollongong, was refused bail on Sunday, February 11 and reappeared in Batemans Bay Local Court on Monday, February 12, charged with 16 offences.
She is accused of two counts of not stopping and driving dangerously in a police pursuit; two counts of dangerous driving; three counts of negligent driving; speeding more than 45km/h over the limit; and driving while disqualified.
Defence solicitor Wayne Boom said Hasiuk admitted to being in the car but denied being the driver.
“She says she was not the driver of the vehicle alleged to have committed the offences,” Mr Boom said.
Magistrate Doug Dick told the court the allegations were extremely serious.
Hasiuk was refused bail and will face Nowra Local Court via audio-visual link on March 26, 2018.
