The speed limit on the Princes Highway at Burrill Lake will return to 60 km/h on Friday, May 18 following the completion of the bridge upgrade.

The speed limit had been reduced to 40 km/h during the work on the new bridge.
“Minor work on the NSW Government’s $58 million Burrill Lake Bridge project has been carried out since late March and is nearing completion,” an RMS spokesman said.
“The speed zone on the Princes Highway was reduced to 40 km/h to allow for the project to be carried out as safely and efficiently as possible.
“The community is thanked for its patience while work took place.”
