The session was led by The Leaders Changeroom business coach Justine Cox, and convened by Andrea Tucker.
“A mastermind session is more about me facilitating conversation, and drawing on the wisdom and knowledge in the room,” Mrs Cox said.
“We will try and focus on some key challenges or questions that people have and help to solve them, or at least give them something they can do to take action when they leave here that will make a difference to their business.
“This is hands on and hopefully we inspire them to take action. Last time we paired businesses up and I know, because I was asked to attend sessions afterwards, that those buddies continued to meet post the mastermind to talk about their businesses.”
Mrs Tucker said it was “amazing” for the mastermind event to be supported by local businesses.
“It is pretty amazing for local business people to support something like this,” she said.
“From the larger BCN events we have break away groups about 4 or 5 times a year, which we keep smaller and more intimate. We use the feedback from the bigger events of what local people want to focus on.”
The next BCN event will be held on August 24 at Cupitt Winery, with more than 140 people expected to attend. The event will raise money for the Rotary Youth Foundation.
