A NSW Ambulance spokesperson said paramedics were called to car rollover at Termeil, near Boardinghouse Road, just before 4pm on May 17.
Paramedics treated two people, including a 25-year-old man, suffering serious hand injuries. He was taken to Milton Hospital in a stable condition before being flown to St George Hospital in Sydney.
NSW Ambulance said a second person, whose age and gender is not known, was also taken to Milton Hospital with minor injuries.
The highway is understood to have been closed for short periods yesterday afternoon while emergency crews worked to clear the crash site.
It follows a serious crash involving a truck and a four-wheel drive towing a caravan on the same stretch of road near Cockwhy in February this year. Five people were hospitalised in the incident.
