A dozen participants, all eager to contest the fourth handicap event of the season took to the circuit. Both the 10km series and 5.5km series were contested concurrently, with the ladies winning both events while the boys recorded the fastest times.
In the 5.5km series, the comeback queen Lauri Perino walk/jogged around the circuit, never surrendering her lead to finish first in the time of 47:49. Second place went to Adrian Le with the fastest time of the morning of 31:09, burning off her dad in the process. Third place went to reigning champ and series leader Jack Robertson who ran a 41:25.
In the 10 km series, Cheryl Garin reeled in front marker Maree Randall and scooted to victory in a personal best time of 59:10. Maree was second with an improved performance of 60:37. Gay Shearman, fresh from a bitterly cold Bowral parkrun the morning before, ran into third place with a 52:54. Craig Hancock was fastest RAT on course with a 52:18.
