Bev has been a member of Milton Ulladulla District Tennis Association since 2000 and has always been very involved with helping in any way she can.
Bev was the Ladies Monday Comp co-ordinator in 2001 and 2002 and was a selector in 2006. She was treasurer of the management committee from 2007 until 2010 and the secretary from 2012-2015.
Bev is a quiet achiever and likes to help behind the scenes doing things such as:
- Being the driving force behind the “Big Wheel” at the South Pacific Open, organising and soliciting prizes to be raffled. She also organises the event and the raffles for fundraising for cancer at the Biggest Morning Tea.
- Helping in the canteen at tournaments and events.
- Cleaning the clubhouse and amenities block for five years when she was treasurer and still does when Maureen can’t do it.
- Helping maintain the gardens when needed.
- Helping to organise and run the club championships.
- Lending a hand in any capacity from working bees, cooking and being a general “dog’s body” to help all events run smoothly.
- Bev is an exceptional asset to MUDTA and we thank her for her continuing efforts.

New Fencing Work to Start Monday
Due to weather delays for our fencing contractor our new fence project for courts 4, 5 and 6 will start on Monday June 25. These courts will be out of bounds for all players next week while the fencing is being removed and replaced.
We have had great feedback about the new fencing on courts 8 and 9 and there will be a whole new look at the Ulladulla centre when these three courts are finished as well.
The committee thanks players for their patience while this work is being carried out and reminds everyone to stay away from this area until the work is completed.
