Millhouse Courtyard Gallery is showcasing a colourful display of both traditional and contemporary paintings by Millhouse Artists until the end of the cooler months.
With new members joining constantly, there was more variety than ever, Millhouse Art Society publicity officer Jenny Murphy said.
“There's something for everyone at reasonable prices.”
Attendees will also find a large selection hand-painted cards, stained glass pieces by Mechelina Flynn and children’s books by Catherine Murphy.
Helen Carroll, who has been with the Society since it's beginning, has kindly donated a beautiful framed water colour painting titled Ocean Power with tickets selling at $1 each and drawn on the September 3, the last day of the exhibition.
The Millhouse Courtyard Gallery is open from 10am to 3pm on weekends and daily during school holidays. It’s free entry and there is wheelchair access.
Visit www.millhouseartsociety.com or phone the gallery during opening hours on 4455 7211 for details.
AGM MEETING JULY
With the AGM coming up at 1pm on Monday, July 16, the present committee is hoping to see plenty of enthusiastic members as there'll be a few vacancies to fill, Ms Murphy said.
“Members are asked to consider nominating for a position if they want to continue to benefit from hanging paintings in our successful Millhouse Gallery, participate in workshops throughout the year and benefit from the companionship of like minded people,” she said.
