Development consent for recent the $2.4 million project was approved by Shoalhaven City Council on June 21, 2018.
It will see 20 tourist cabins and associated infrastructure built on the Forest Drive property, which spans across 860 hectares. There will be 17 two-bed cabins and 3 four bed cabins built as part of the expansion.
Submitted to council for consideration on December 8, 2017, the approved development application includes a basement, conference facilities, terrace, seating area, amenities, store, communications room and kitchen servery.
Before council will issue a construction certificate, Willinga Park must pay $30,642 as part of a contributions plan.
Contributions are calculated on the need for additional facilities to cater for the development.
