Milton’s Sue Dalton, Lake Conjola’s Michele Devlin and Ulladulla’s Shane Haub thought the black tie event would be a way to thank and acknowledge workers and volunteers’ service to the community following a difficult period over the summer months.
Organisers are encouraging residents to “get dolled up and get together to have a bit of fun and wind down” in recognition of the valued services workers and volunteers provide to the local community on a daily basis.
“By supporting this event you’re saying thanks to those men and women,” Ms Dalton said.
The three organisers hope, with the support of the community, to turn the celebration into an annual event.
The inaugural black-tie event will be held at the Milton Ulladulla ExServos Club on Saturday, August 11.
Tickets cost $60 per person and the package includes a three-course meal and a drink on arrival. Purchase at the club’s reception or via www.stickytickets.com.au.
Live music by Max Smidt and The Hard Rocking’ Amigos and Reckless.
