Between 50 and 60 SES volunteers attended 16 weather related jobs from Friday to Sunday afternoon.
The most common job crews attended to was fallen trees.
An SES spokesperson said it was “a quiet weekend” considering the high winds.
Gusts of 70 km per hour hit Nowra at 2.36pm on Friday, July 6, while gusts of 69km per hour were recorded by the Bureau of Meteorology at 12.11pm on Friday at Ulladulla.
The winds were also felt in Kiama, with gusts in 76km per hour recorded at 7.0pm on Saturday.
Fifteen of the SES jobs were in the Shoalhaven, while just one was undertaken at Kiama.
The weekend warnings predicted winds averaging between 60 and 75km/h with peak gusts in excess of 90 km/h.
The SES advise people to ensure vehicles are undercover or away from trees, secure loose items around the house and to keep eight metres away from fallen power lines or fallen fences.
