Ulladulla Local Aboriginal Land Council project manager Leanne Barford said this year’s event would be “bigger and better”, with 50 stalls to attend. 

“There has been so much interest, I have had to cut it off,” Ms Barford said. 

“Bunnings will have an activity stall going on with face painting and the NRL are doing a footy toss.”

The free event will kick-off at 9.30am with a smoking ceremony and welcome to country by Deb Sturgeon, while the high school didgeridoo group plays in the background. Student performances, the Djaadawan Dancers, the Drifting Doolagahls band and art displays will entertain attendees throughout the day. 

There will be a free barbecue offering kangaroo and emu sliders on the day. 

A Koori Kook off will see four teams go head-to-head in the Heart Foundation initiative aimed at promoting healthy living.
