Weatherzone predicts winds between 20km/h to 29km/h, at 9am and 3pm respectively, will strike Nowra while Milton-Ulladulla residents can expect north, north-west winds, between 14 to 22km/h.
“Tomorrow will see some strong winds in the area and the Fire Danger Rating for the Shoalhaven may get into ‘Very High’,” Shoalhaven RFS District Officer Bradley Collins said.
“If you are currently burning could you please ensure your fire is extinguished properly today. If you see an unattended fire call 000.”
On July 7, RFS crews across the Shoalhaven responded to fires in Culburra and Manyana. The fire on Culburra Road was suspected to be caused by an escaped pile burn that was conducted a few days earlier.
There was no damage to nearby roads or property and crews had the fire on Culburra Road contained in about two hours.
