Milton Ulladulla Orchid Society growers are this week pinning and straightening their orchids ahead of the show in the lower level of the Ulladulla Civic Centre on Saturday and Sunday, July 28 and 29.
Society member Marilyn Higgins, who has been growing orchids on her Milton property for more than 10 years, will enter.
“Everyone is welcomed to come and view and enjoy the wonderful winter flowing orchids on display at our show,” she said.
As well as orchids on display, there will be plants, as well as stems and posies, for sale.
“We will also have lucky door prizes and raffle of orchids,” Mrs Higgens said.
“During the day, there will be very informative potting displays.
“Club members are happy to help with any growing queries you may have.”
The event will be open from 10am to 3.30pm on the Saturday, and from 9am to 2pm on the Sunday, with entry just $2 to cover costs.
The Milton Ulladulla Orchid Society meets on the second Monday of the month at the Milton CWA Hall from 1.30pm. All are welcome.
