On a second assessment, the girl was found to have “minor lacerations and abrasions to her leg and forehead”, the spokesperson said.
UPDATE, 2.40pm: The Toll helicopter has been stood down and the three-year-old girl will not be airlifted from the scene.
EARLIER: A three-year-old has been hit by a car at a Sussex Inlet caravan park.
NSW Ambulance paramedics were at 2.20pm on Thursday, July 19 responding to the scene.
The child is suffering a head injury after being hit by the car, which was allegedly travelling at low speed, an Ambulance spokesperson said.
The spokesperson said the child was conscious and breathing and a second assessment was being carried out before a decision to transport the child by helicopter or road was made.
Three units are responding to the incident in the caravan park at Sussex Inlet.
