Incoming and outgoing committee members were celebrated at the Milton Ulladulla Hospital Auxiliary’s AGM on Wednesday.

About 30 members and volunteers joined guests from Milton Ulladulla Hospital and Milton Medical Centre for the meeting at the Mollymook Beach Bowling Club.
Outgoing president Ucki Dean handed the reins to the 2018/2019 president Judy Bond and various new office bearers were also announced.
Mrs Dean’s president’s report detailed a successful 2017/2018 year for the not-for-profit group.
“Our members have worked 2,844 volunteer hours throughout the year, a huge thank you to all,” she reported.
Mrs Dean reported funds raised throughout the year had been earmarked for two Low Low bed, a pediatric IV trolley for the emergency department and also a palliative care trolley to “ensure patient dignity and compassion is ongoing”.
Mrs Bond praised Mrs Dean’s efforts as both president and acting secretary before giving her a large bunch of flowers.
Dr Amanda Venables of the Milton Medical Centre detailed her story from former pharmacist to medical student and GP as guest speaker.
Director of Nursing at Milton Ulladulla Hospital Teresa Williams also filled in auxiliary members on the status of services and some patient statistics at the hospital.
