Secretary Allan McDonald said the club had donated $20,000 to the drought relief fund, which would see money sent to families in Baldrudgery.
“This is not for fodder, it is for families,” he said.
“We have already sent out some money to 30 families, and we are looking for more who are in need.”
Mr McDonald said the Lions club was also planning a Christmas function in the western NSW town.
“They hold it every year, but feel their isn’t enough money to put it on, so we are going to do it,” he said.
