The AusMumpreneur awards night was held in Melbourne recently, and much to Mrs Hamel’s surprise she came home with a trophy.
She was joined at the Melbourne event by talented mums from all over the country.
“It’s such a rewarding feeling when all your hard work is formally recognised in an awards which is dedicated to acknowledging successful business women/mothers all round Australia," Mrs Hamel said.
“Juggling a business and a family takes true dedication and I’m absolutely thrilled to have been chosen.
“Just being part of the conference and awards process is electrifying. To have the opportunity to meet, liaise and collaborate with women who are so passionate about their businesses is both personally rewarding and inspiring.”
AusMumpreneur was created to support Australian entrepreneurs like Mrs Hamel and her fellow AusMumpreneur Award winners, Peace Mitchell, AusMumpreneur co founder said.
“These awards are all about recognising the growing number of mums who are achieving outstanding business success while balancing motherhood,” Mrs Mitchell said.
“I was blown away by the entrepreneurial spirit of the award winners and I know that they will provide great inspiration for other mums considering starting their own business.”
This is the ninth year the AusMumpreneur Awards have run, with the business mum community growing at lightning speed as mothers look for opportunities to join the ranks of small business owners in search of more flexibility, financial freedom and family time.
