On this day members of the NSW Police Force who have paid the ultimate sacrifice in the execution of their duty are honoured.
Locally this year's service will be held on Friday, September 28.
The South Coast Police District will host three memorial services, including one on the Shoalhaven.
The service will be held at St Stephen's Anglican Church in Bomaderry, on the corner of the Princes Highway and West Birriley Street from 10am.
Members of the public are invited to attend the service. Light refreshments will be provided afterwards.
Services will also be held at St Bernard's Catholic Church Batehaven and St John's Anglican Church Bega, both from 10am.
