The pair need no introduction to Aussie golf fans with a staggering 32 wins on the ISPS PGA Tour of Australasia between them.
Senior, 59, has only just stepped back from the week to week grind of professional tournament golf but is still more than capable of mixing it with the young stars of the Australian Tour.
His last win on tour came at the 2015 Australian Masters at Huntingdale Golf Club.
Lonard is a relative new comer to the senior golf ranks.
The 51-year-old has spent much of 2018 battling away in the United States trying to break into the lucrative Champions Tour.
The Senior PGA will be the first of a run of senior tournaments for the Sydneysider, including next week’s $100,000 NSW Senior Open at Thurgoona Country Club in in Albury.
Orange-based professional Steve Conran is back to defend his 2017 crown and will be a hard man to beat.
A winner on the Japanese tour, Conran has wound back his international schedule and is determined to consolidate his position on the Ladbrokes Legends Tour Order of Merit.
Almost 70 Senior PGA professionals are expected to take part with play getting underway from on Friday from 7.20am, with the final round on Saturday.
