The show follows the story of a group of extraordinary women from a Women’s Institute in Yorkshire, who choose to pose in the nude for their upcoming calendar and raise funds for charity.
Calendar Girls is the Follies’ 25th show its produced since 2003. The cast reports Calendar Girls has been “a hoot to practice”, with cast members hoping to bring the joy and camaraderie from the rehearsal room to the stage.

The production includes women from all walks of life – from small business owners to doctors, singing teachers to lawyers, pre-school teachers to university lecturers – and they have enjoyed exploring the themes of female friendship, loss, nudity and fundraising.
