The 2018 St Martin's Recycle Market promises to be its biggest yet with loads of vintage, pre-loved, plant and upcycle stalls in the church hall opposite the Ulladulla Post Office.
The market, which is run every year in November, has a purely recycled theme, from the signs that are posted around town every year on old cardboard boxes, to the second-hand goods, plants struck from cuttings and upcycled merchandise made from unwanted old wares.
The beauty of buying recycled and upcycled goods is being increasingly appreciated in our throw away society where land fill is becoming an issue very much in the forefront of Australia's environmental crisis as well as the quality of goods from a by gone era, organiser Sue Dillon said.
Shoppers are encouraged to bring their own bags to take home their newly discovered treasures.
As well as a morning fossicking for treasure enjoy Devonshire tea and “the best scones in Ulladulla” made by the St Martin's hospitality team on the sunny verandah overlooking the Harbour.
Doors will open at 9am on Saturday, November 24 at St Martin's Anglican Church in Green Street, Ulladulla.
