Mollymook Golf Club showed off some impressive golf this week as course conditions flourish. Tuesday was home to the Ladies Single Stableford even in which Jo Woodward 34 came first in Division 1, Jenny Kemp 36 won Division 2 and Annette Jackson 36 won Division 3. Congratulations ladies on fantastic golfing.
Our young at Heart Wednesday Veterans missed out on their weekly competition due to the relentless rain on the day. Hoping for better conditions next week gentlemen.
Due to wet conditions on Wednesday, Thursday saw no golf carts in play, however that didn’t stop some terrific golf from being played. Stuart reeves 38 won A Grade, Bruce George 42 won B Grade and Danny Gruosso shot an outstanding 45 points to win C Grade and The PP’s Championship. Marie Wakely scored 34 points to win overall Ladies Stableford event on Thursday and Danny Gruosso and Sean Carson teamed up nicely to win the 4BBB event with 48.
Saturday’s Monthly medal event saw Richard Seears shoot 68 nett to win A Grade by 5, Ric Clear shot 68 nett to win B grade and Craig Roadcap shot 70 to take out C Grade. Martin Lochrin won the Men’s Stableford Division with 38 points and visitor Lorette Sams won the Woman’s Stableford with 27 points.

Bomaderry ladies Bowling Club celebrated their 60th Birthday and with President Ray Martin on Monday,26th November,2018 with the representatives from the South Coast District attending, District President Ann, District Secretary Lynn,District Publicity Suzanne. President Ray welcomed everyone and thanked them for attending their special day.
A delightful morning tea was enjoyed before bowlers took to the greens for a friendly muck up game of bowls.The history of the Bomaderry Ladies were fifteen ladies met at a café in meroo st Bomaderry with ten taking positions,so keen were they to see the club come into being.They won No 1 Pennant 22 times,No 2 10 times,No 3 6 times No 4 6 times,so well done to all who participated.15 Clubs from the South Coast attended the celebration. After the cutting of the cake President Ray thanked all who attended and made the day so enjoyable.

The wet weather has played a little bit of havoc with our final rounds of this season competitions which has seen both the junior and senior competitions pushed back a week.
The junior competition will play their semi finals this week with the grandfinals to be played next week, all players are invited to next weeks presentation and BBQ.
The senior competition has been pushed back a week with the competition now finishing on Wednesday 19th December, the committee contacted all teams contacts and this was the most favoured option.
Our next competition will be commencing after the holidays, these will be mixed teams with the Senior competition commencing on Wendesday 30th January and running for 15 weeks registration is $80 plus the standard $100 team bond, a team nomination night will be held on Wednesday January 9th at Frogs Holla between 6 – 7pm.
Our mixed junior competition will commence on February 6th and run for 10 weeks, registration cost will be $50, please watch our Facebook page as to when player registrations are open.
