Todd Nathen Jackson, 21, pleaded guilty to driving under the influence, second offence, after tests revealed he had methylamphetamine, commonly known as ice in his system.
Facts tendered to Milton Local Court said Jackson was driving north on Mitchell Parade, near Ocean Street, on Saturday, January 13.
Police observed the vehicle and decided to stop it for random testing. Police conducted a sobriety test, of which he failed, before arresting him and taking him to Milton Ulladulla Hospital for blood and urine testing.
On November 29, Magistrate Gabriel Fleming sentenced Jackson to a 14-month community corrections order, disqualified him from driving and ordered him to complete 120 community service hours.
