“In 2017 the NSW Government invested $1 million towards maintaining our local schools, then earlier this year over the summer holidays we invested a further $1.49 million, and this year we are investing even more with a record $2.1 million,” Mrs Hancock said.
“The additional funding announced is a huge boost for the South Coast.
“It will ensure that students and teachers can work in the best possible conditions and that every student, in every school, has an equal opportunity to achieve excellence.
“Only the NSW Liberals and Nationals can deliver this sort of major investment. When the NSW Liberals and Nationals came to Government we inherited a large school maintenance liability from Labor. Once again we are fixing the mess that Labor left for NSW.”
