Council has engaged Water Modelling Solutions to assist with preparations of the study.
The aim of the study is to improve understanding of flood behaviour and impacts and better inform management of flood risk in the study area.
Council is seeking input from the community through a questionnaire about the creek, which runs from near Slaughterhouse Road to Ulladulla Harbour.
Council has received financial support for the study from the State Floodplain Management program, managed bu the Officer of Environment and Heritage. Assistance provided under the NSW State Floodplain Management program is $2 from government for every $1 provided by council.
Council’s questionnaire closes on January 18. Visit https://getinvolved.shoalhaven.nsw.gov.au/Millards_Ck_Flood_Study to complete the survey.
