After claiming bronze in her first event back competing in round three, Williams managed to finish second in the open women’s beach flags event – falling to hometown hero Brittany Brymer in the final.
Kurrawa’s Bree Masters rounded out the podium for that event, while Williams’ Mollymook club mate Kate Lewis finished back in fifth.
These results leave Lewis in second overall, on 222 points – behind leader Masters (244), with Williams in fifth on 166 points.
Round five of the series is at Surfers Paradise from February 1-2 – in which Mollymook’s Williams, Lewis, Brock Scrivener and Sam Zustovich will be be competing.
In other Mollymook SLSC news, Lewis and Scrivener will represent NSW Country in the opens at Newport’s NSW Interstate Championships on Thursday, January 24, while Zustovich, is part of the NSW youth team, that will compete at the same carnival.
