Justin Barry Southan, 44, pleaded guilty to one charge of supplying an indictable quantity of cannabis, one charge of cultivating a prohibited plant, less than an indictable amount, and dealing with proceeds of crime on Thursday, January 31 at Milton Local Court.
Southan’s solicitor Ted Neaves indicated his client disputed facts relating to another charge of supplying an indictable quantity of cannabis. A hearing on the disputed facts will be held at Milton Local Court on Thursday, May 23.
Facts tendered to the court alleged Southan supplied cannabis between July 17 to July 30 in Ulladulla, further supplied more cannabis on the day of his arrest, August 9.
Police allege Southan had $7550 from the proceeds of crime.
Southan was arrested along with two others as part of an ongoing investigation into drug supply of illicit drugs on the South Coast.
Strike Force Dashi was established in February 2018 by South Coast Police District to investigate the supply of illicit drugs in the Ulladulla area.
Magistrate Gabriel Fleming told the court Southan’s next appearance will be for a hearing on the disputed facts and sentencing on May 23.
