Highway patrol and general duties officers took part in the operation across the South Coast District, which Inspector Stynes said achieved its goals with just three motor vehicle accidents over the weekend.

“Those road trauma results were excellent. But the 15 people caught drink driving is disappointing.”
Fourteen random drug test were also conducted over the weekend.
Officers issued a further 72 speeding infringements over the weekend and more than 100 other traffic related infringements.
