The 63rd edition of the annual Ulladulla event, set to be held on Sunday, April 21, is facing a shortfall of $20,000, marketing, sponsorship and entertainment manager Leonie Smith said.
"This iconic festival is in real danger of becoming extinct if the organising committee do not receive ongoing financial support," Ms Smith said.
A $10,000 sponsor pulled out a fortnight ago, and the expensive operation will not receive support from the NSW Government, after it granted $10,000 to the 2018 festival.
"It's not adding up and the Blessing of the Fleet Festival in crisis shortly, due to lack of funding," she said.
In the wake of the funding shortfall, the Blessing of the Fleet Festival committee has called for residents and festivalgoers to help crowdfund.
"[The festival] is going into its 63rd year and is important for the town," Ms Smith said.
We are seeing third generation Princesses now and local accommodation house business are booked out or extremely busy over the Easter period."
