In February, council received a revised layout for the Inyadda Drive, formerly Kylor, Planning Proposal, from the new landowners.
The North Manyana Focus Group reviewed the documents before its meeting on February 28.
A list of issues were raised including a new north-east corner block of development with an extra lots (pictured above), and a lack of detail with pages stating 'requires further consultant advice including stormwater, traffic, and services such as water and electricity.
The group's "overwhelming sentiment" was that the third building area in the north-east corner, was too close to the beach and it would have "diabolical repercussions" if it is to proceed.
Over the 2018/2019 summer two chicks of the critically endangered Hood Plover successfully fledged. The Focus Group believes the development would have direct repercussions on the species.
A public meeting will be held on Saturday, April 20 starting at 3pm, at the Yulunga Community Hall in Manyana. The meeting will be an open forum with a Q and A where attendees are invited to share knowledge and concerns.
