Money poorly spent

Ratepayers should be concerned with the decision of the Shoalhaven Council at the meeting on the 26 March 2019, supported by our 8 conservative councillors, for the Council to become a third party to an appeal in the Land and Environment Court against the NSW Independent Planning Commission's refusal of the West Culburra Concept Plan DA. In my opinion Council should not spend our money in appealing decisions of the Independent Body that has thoroughly reviewed a development proposal and rejected it on environmental grounds. I would rather see the council spend our money on projects that protect the environment and improve our facilities.
