The main musical act for the Blessing of the Fleet Festival is one who will rock the crowd, taking them back in time. Elton - The Young Years will perform from 1pm on the main stage. Jason Paris, aka Elton, will deliver a powerful performance, channeling Elton's 70s flamboyancy. Bright costumes, props and a larger than life personality, Elton - The Young Years promises to have the crowd up on their feet. Popular classics such as Crocodile Rock, Daniel, Song for Guy and Yellow Brick Road, are just some of the hits to be performed on the day.
Paris decided to recreate 1970s Elton after being inspired by the world's greatest tribute shows. He made a custom grand piano shell, reproduced the band's 1974 drum kit and bought the guitars and instruments which feature on recordings. "It's been a real labour of love," Paris said. "For my show to rank alongside the world's greatest tributes means having a world-class attention to detail."
