The second round of the monthly interclub challenges between Milton Ulladulla District Tennis Association and Batemans Bay was held on Saturday, May 11.

Fourteen members travelled from Batemans Bay to play against an equal number of Ulladulla contenders. After three hours of great tennis the scores were added with MUDTA retaining the trophy, winning 12 sets to 9 and 95 games to 85.
The standout players for Ulladulla were Geoff Cook, Norm Holcroft, Phil Bryant and Paul Woodcock who won all of their sets and the stars from Batemans Bay were Lorna and Anne also winning three sets.
After the tennis a delicious barbecue was enjoyed by all. Thanks again to Presidents Garry and Pauline and Coach Kev for organising a fabulous event.
Biggest Morning Munch Next Week
The MUDTA annual fund-raiser for Cancer Council Australia, the Biggest Morning Munch, will be held next Thursday, May 23.
All club members and friends are invited to come along and be part of this fun couple of hours starting at 11am in the clubhouse, or on the deck if weather permits.
All attendees will receive lunch beautifully prepared by Maureen and Val comprising a choice of soups and desserts, tea, coffee and cakes for just $10. If you have special dietary needs just advise and we will oblige.
A major raffle will be conducted with some great prizes to be won including homewares, framed art and store gift vouchers.
Tickets will be on sale in the clubhouse during tennis days leading up to this day with all monies raised on the day going to the Cancer Council for cancer research.
Apart from the raffles we have lucky door prizes, the coin toss competition and Val's famous trivia competition with lots of prizes. Donations towards the prize kitty would be very welcome. Please contact Bev if you can help.

Bakers Delight Saturday Morning Junior Competition
Some exciting games were played on Saturday with both division two matches finishing in a draw. The results were:
Division 1 - Anderson 27 def Mathews 21, Donald 29 def Hatcher-Nee 19, Bye Team - Ogilvy. Division 2 - Gillespie 32 drew with Thelander 32, Upsall 32 drew with Pinches 32, Bye Team - Le.
The matches for next week are: Division 1 - Ogilvy vs Hatcher-Nee, Donald vs Anderson, Bye Team - Mathews. Division 2 - Gillespie vs Pinches, Le vs Thelander, Bye team - Upsall.
Thursday Night Ladies
A mild night made play enjoyable on May 8. Team Shalhoub defeated team Donohue by 5 sets to 1, unfortunately Donohue had to forfeit 2 sets due to Susie being unable to get a fill-in. Team Blondinau and Team Simon had an exciting game which ended in a draw - 3 sets and 34 games to both teams.
Current pointscores are: Shalhoub 471/2, Simon 431/2, Donohue 37, Blondinau 30. Jenny, Mary Lou and Susie are on duty this week.
Harris Scarfe Monday Ladies Competition
Results from May 6 are: Div 1 - Cassidy defeated Loves 6 sets to 0, Rejc defeated Crook 4 sets to 2, Mennie defeated Stiller 5 sets to 1, Di Farmilo won 4 sets.
Div 2 - Hargraves defeated Cough 5 sets to 1, Kyla winning 4 sets, Donohue and Pascoe both won 3 sets each Donohue won 4 more games, Potts and Rutherford both won 3 sets with Potts winning by 2 games.
Current pointscores are: Div 1 - Mennie 42, Stiller 40, Loves 37, Cassidy 35, Rejc 25, Crook 17. Div 2 - Hargraves 48, Rutherford 44, Dunn 37, Potts 35, Pascoe 35, Donohue 28, Clough 13.
