The second round of the monthly interclub challenges between Milton Ulladulla District Tennis Association and Batemans Bay was held on Saturday, May 11.
Fourteen members travelled from Batemans Bay to play against an equal number of Ulladulla contenders. After three hours of great tennis the scores were added with MUDTA retaining the trophy, winning 12 sets to 9 and 95 games to 85.
The standout players for Ulladulla were Geoff Cook, Norm Holcroft, Phil Bryant and Paul Woodcock who won all of their sets and the stars from Batemans Bay were Lorna and Anne also winning three sets.
After the tennis a delicious barbecue was enjoyed by all. Thanks again to Presidents Garry and Pauline and Coach Kev for organising a fabulous event.
